Custom domains on New Sites
Create on Google (New) Sites
Go to Sites settings in Google Admin (admin.google.com) Apps-Google Workspace - Sites - Custom URL
Under Custom URL Sites page add a new custom URL for (new) Google Sites page - enter Google Sites URL, custom URL, and CNAME
For CNAME change, in the Admin console, go to Account-Domain-Manage Domain-View Details-Advanced DNS settings-Use provided name and password to sign in to DNS console
Once logged in (for domains managed by Google - may be registered at another Domain registry) , go to DNS-Manage Domains
Search for your domain name
Once the DNS records appear, add a new record
For the new DNS record, type should be CNAME, Name should be the subdomain name, Value should be ghs.googlehosted.com, and TTL can be set to 1 hour
Log out of DNS console
The custom URL with your domain name should redirect to the Google Sites page in an hour or less.
